Now and Then, Here and There

(R)

Review:
This is the sad story of a boy who travels 1 billion years into the future, where children are recruited to fight in wars over water, power, and insanity. Enter LaLa Ryu, a girl who possesses a crystal which can control the most precious of resources, water. This is a semi depressing series for the simple fact that it's never upbeat. There isn't a single moment when someone isn't being beaten, killing someone, or being raped...

Parent's Guide:
(Warning, this is out of 5. Also, there is a difference between a 3 on  the PG 13 system and the G system. it takes more then 1 catagory above 5 for it to be considered the next level up)

Sexual Situations: 3/5 - Even for a rating of R, seeing a girl getting raped isn't fun.

Language: 1/5 - For an R rating the language isn't bad at all.

Plot - 4/5 - This is a deeply disturbing series. The main character is shown being beaten and then is hung out in the sun for birds to peck on him. That's just one instance.

Characters - 2/5 - Sadistic maniacs that belong in a Slasher film to put it simply.
